  • Gasket on drivers side header collector?

The gasket is blown out on the driver side header where the y pipe meets the collector. ONe can I use that will make a leak free seal on this thing. I can see a huge gap where the gasket used to be and theres black coming all out of the opening

The factory gasket is a steel shim covered with a paper composit. If the flanges are not warped, it should seal just fine.

Percy's dead soft aluminum will seal up most collectors.

Well, with the BBk kit I replaced with one of those junk paper gaskets and it blew out. Should I pick up a factory one? I dont think Percys makes one for that application, but I could be wrong.

I have the cheapo Summit racing all aluminum gaskets and they dont leak period. They are Percy rip off's but a lot cheaper.
