I need input on the Procharger LS1 products. Does anybody here have their P-1SC kit or the D-1SC kit? What kind of mods do you have besides the kit itslef? What kind of numbers are you getting to the rear wheels? Where is the best place to pickup a brand new kit with the most reasonable prices besides Superchargersonline or the site's sponsors? Thanks ahead of time for any of your input.

Hey Smokin, you're better off asking over at the LS1 BBs like http://www.ls1tech.com/forums/ or go to http://camaroz28.com/ and ask in the Forced Induction forum. I don't know if anyone here even has a supercharged LS1.

Superchargers4less.com has incredible prices on ProCharger stuff. Running a supercharger on a LS1 is really no different than running boost on any other small block. You have to make quite a few changes to the motor to make it boost ready.
Keep in mind you DO NOT want to use the BOV that most of the superchargers come with. You want to use a bypass valve. They are open at idle and control the downstream boost during decel much better than a BOV. Even the ProCharger Race BOV or the Vortech Mondo BOV's are no good for the street.
If you plan on making more than 6 PSI at the manifold, you'll need to either eliminate the PCV system all together or place a inline check valve in so you don't get boost blowby into the crankcase. You'll know this is occuring because your engine oil dipstick will likely always be coming out.
Bone stock LS1 bottom ends can safely handle 10 PSI with a good WOT tune. With an intercooled D-1SC setup running 6-7 PSI, you can expect around 430-460 RWHP with a good tune. Step up to 8-10 PSI and 500 RWHP is not out of the question.
Your stock fuel pump should be ok up to about 450 RWHP, but anything over that and I would go to a better pump. You will likely need bigger injectors either way if you plan on making anything over 6 PSI at the manifold.

I was wrong - he is running the P-1SC - but check out the numbers in his sig. Again this is a STOCK bottom end:

The rods are obviously on borrowed time as are the pistons.Silver 02 WS-6, 6 speed, Corsa cat-back, SLP lid, K&N filter, BMR STB, !CAGs, Lou's short stick, MSD wires, MTI "Hammer" cam, ASP underdrive pulley, Hooker LTs, Hooker ORY, Comp 918s, TR pushrods, UMI Sfcs, UMI LCAs, NGK TR55s, Hotchkis springs
