You know Year One sponsers an F-Body Event every year. Like a 2 week long event in which everyone drives from car show to car show everyday for almost 2 weeks. I wonder where it will be this year. Anyone else heard or been to it?

I posted a link to an NJ show for April 30. We generally get 50-60 F-Bodys at a show that can range anywhere from 350-600 cars. Go to the "off-topic" forum.

Injuneer since you are from NJ I take it you know a good LS1 shop to get my engine work done. What are your recommendations? My car should be out of the body shop in a couple of weeks I definately want to go to that show in New Brunswick. I am from Edison NJ myself.

              NJ shops....

Cartek in Garwood. They have reached the point where they will only work on LSx engines, won't touch LT1's. I have heard both good and bad about Cartek.

              Maybe Pat Musi in Carteret.

In PA, Second Street Speed, Perkasie.

Go to the link I included in my post. All the info is there. They are usually very late setting up a website, so TangoTwo (a North Brunsick PD officer) posts the info in convenient places.

Pre-registration is $15. You get some freebies for early registration. E-mail to NBP555@AOL.com and he will e-mail you a copy of the registration form.

We all meet at 7:00am the Sears parking lot on Rt. 1 South in New Brunswick, then get a police escort to the show. It's kinds cool cruising down Rt 1, smoking the 28" slicks, with a cruiser a few cars in front.....

Sounds like alot of fun hopefully it will be a sunny day. The Sears lot your talking about is on RT 1 south right? Not the one in the Mall on the Northbound side

When you're going southbound on US-1 you go over the Raritan River, past the big Loew's Cineplex, then you go under Rt 18. Immediately after the Rt 18 underpass, there will be a large Sears store on the righthand side. There's an On The Border and a Houlihan's in the lot closest to the highway. We meet at the north end, between the car service building and the end of the Sears store, near On The Border.
