I got a 95 z convt m6 88k a couple months ago and I've noticed its a lot slower then I exspected. I recently got smoke checked of the line by a stock 00 grand prix it wasn't even a gtp. The second time arround I got serious and drop the clutched at 3 grand and stuck I stayed with him untill 3rd gear then just inched my way ahead. I know lt1's arn't known for there top end but it seems to loose all sorts of pull after 4k. Bad opti or fuel filter is my best guess.

Sounds like you've got some diagnosing to do. Dont race anymore until you figured it out. That guy in the GP has a real big smile on his face right now!
Your really going to need some equipment to figure out where your losing your power. You really need to start with some basics, get it on a scanner and watch your A/F ratios, do a compression test, leakdown, fuel pressure, etc... If its cutting out after 4 grand, it could be an opti problem, but if its a genaral lack of power, I doubt it.96 WS6 Formula: Ram Air, 383 Stroker, Ported LT4 Heads and Manifold, 1.6 Crane Rollers, 58MM T.B., AS&M Headers, Borla Exhaust, Meziere Elec.
