  • Took the car out-now have idle surge

Not to sure if any of you can give me a hand or not but, I got the car out last night from its winter sleep. Started it up and all is sort of well. It now seems to have a bit of a surge at idle, maybe 150-200 rpm. I'm hoping that its just getting used to running again and the batt was undone from it for a few months. Checked all fluids, good. Ran the scanner on it only code I had was low voltage. Took a bit for the Batt to recharge, should have put it on the tricle charger first but its working good now. All filters are new as well as oil, rad fluid, trany, rear end (not that those have anything to do with the surge).

I would say drive it a little bit and let the pcm adjust. They can run a little funny after the battery has been disconnected. If it still does it later, then maybe spray the MAF wires off with contact cleaner and start checking for cracked hoses or intake leaks.
