  • ~First track results of season!

Hey every one, well on Wensday I took the TA to the strip and I only ran twice because I need a fan switch and tires couldn't handle another run haha. For bald tires, running pretty hot and a small misfire the car best was 14.6 at 95mph. I no next week when I have my new tires and new plugs/wires and my cooling down i should pull a 14.2. Heres the slip on the 14.6 run
    R/T-.468
    60'-2.313
    330-6.254
    1/8-9.499
    1000-12.278
1/4- 14.628 @95.47 I raced a LS1 TA that ran a 13.6, good ole LT1 bottom end had me ahead tell just before the 330 mark! Any comments on any thing are apperciated as always.

    I've got a few suggestions......
*Bypass the coolant lines running though the throttle body. http://www.ws6.com/mod-8.htm

*Install a cutout just after the cat and uncap it for the run.
*Ice down the intake for as long as possible before running.

    here are more ideas:

Opps I guess I shoulda mentioned I got the TB Bypass. As for the cutout on the cat I will consider that, but I am going to be installing headers early June. I will bring a cooler full of ice next time so I can ice the intake. Thanks for the suggestions!

Yea I am getting some Cooper 2xs for now and then later this summer prolly some street radials along with some suspention work. Do you have any suggestions on suspention parts that mainly focus on helping with traction? Thanks for the response!

            Lower control arms will help.
