After 3 hours of work, it is 1/2 way done. The trans, bell housing, clutch and pilot bearing are all removed. If I hadn't done it myself I wouldnt believe it, but sure enough the toilet paper method does work to remove the pilot bearing. The trans is going to soak in spray on degreaser overnight and get cleaned up tomorrow. I have a couple days to clean everything up really well because the allignment tool I ordered won't be here until Thursday. It's time to take a shower and go to bed. I'll update tomorrow. This is a much bigger job than the intake gaskets were!!

Status report...
All parts have been degreased.
New clutch, Trans and mount are in place.
Still need to put in driveshaft, shifter and torque arm.
Clutch pedal feels good.
Bedtime. I'll finish tomorrow. I hope the weather is nice this weekend for some top down cruising. I wish I had more time to work on this. With work, wife and kids.....

And man, what a difference. No more noises, no more vibration in the pedal. The car feels like brand new.
