C5 Wheels for a Camaro

I was going to order new tires, but I found that one of my wheels is bent. I was planning on getting wheels sometime anyways, so I'm going to get new ones now. I really like how the C5 wheels look, and I found some here. I'm looking at the 17x9.5 with a +56mm offset in polished aluminum.

I am wondereng three things. First, will these fit on my car correctly. Second, has anyone heard anything about, or had any experiences with WheelReplicas.com? Third, are there any other places that you would recommend to buy these wheels from?

That's the correct bolt pattern, and offset.

My wheels came in today. I got 2001 C5 wheels that are 17" x 9.5". They are triple chrome plated. The tires that I am putting on them are Cooper Zeon 2XS 275/35r17. I'll get some pics on here tomorrow when I get the tires mounted and get the wheels on the car.

I ordered them from WheelReplicas.com. Their customer service is great, and their prices are awsome. I guess I'll just have to wait to see how the long-term durability is.

Unfortunately, my camera will not take pictures of my car. It takes perfect pictures of everything else, but pictures of my car are always blurry. Also, my tires are 275/40R17, not 275/35R17. I figured that they would get alot of traction, but my car still spins like crazy if I floor it at 30mph. One of my friends suggested that they have to break in, so I'll have to wait and see.

I'll get some better pics later, but these should do for now.

I still have alot of sandpaper and scotch-brite pads from when I was working on the hood. Maybe I'll have to scuff it up so it looks like all of the ricers. I bet my camera would focus on it then... hmmm I don't think its worth it.

Get the site to verify what brand the wheels are. There are only a few makers of Chinese knock-offs, so it doesn't make sense to pay a premium for the same knock off.

AFS and OE Concepts tend to be two of the "better" knock-offs, but if you go with just an internet vendor you really have no idea what you are getting.

I can help you out with other vendors that offer C5 packages for about $600, if you are interested.

I might even be interested in that. I would assume camaro bolt paterns are the same as my trans am (1996). PM me and let me know what the deal is if you don't mind.

PS- Would you also be able to tell me how much the Z06 wheels are...I think the Y2K's and the Z06 wheels look really good.
