Do catalytic converters that are replaced with high flow one's still use the stock heat shield, and bracket from the stock cat? Also is the round piece on the exhaust pipe thats just after the bracket used again because mine is pretty rusted up, so bad that theres a hole through it. Dont know what the piece is called. (Looks like a huge wing nut going around an exhaust pipe, and right behind the bracket.) Also the bolt in the bracket is all rusted up is it reused?

I just recently replaced the cat on a 94 V6 Camaro... I used a Catco direct fit replacement. It bolted right in, I did NOT have to re-use any parts from the old cat or brackets.

It was $100. I figured that was cheap, compared to what an exhaust shop would charge to do it for me. I was able to do the installtion in my garage myself. It didnt even require welding because on this V6 car the cat is clamped to the y-pipe, not welded. I dont know if all 3.4 cars are clamped, I know my V8 cars have all been welded.
