Just broke my shifter on my 95 T/A the shifter had been having problems hanging in park, so this morning it wouldn't come out of park, so it really just *ticked* me off so I gave it a good couple of tugs and the handle snapped off in my hand, so now I need to find a replacemnet one, and find the instructions and replacing it.

BTW the hanging in park is probably the interlock cable that goes to the brake pedal is out of adjustment.

Which part did you actually break? I've got lots of automatic stock parts sitting around.

I broke the shifter right where the handle(the part the knob is on) goes to the base of the shifter, removing the knob isn't a prob just pop the lil clip on the front out, I was thinking the same thing about parking brake release is whats causing it to hang how do I adjust it...the brake light is on but I figured thats to me not getting around to bleeding the brakes yet, will probably do that later today
