4th Gen F-Body Grill Insert

Hey guys,

How much should I plan to pay for a front grill insert at a junk yard in Texas. I plan to body fill the licence plate holes and paint it silver. The body shop at the dealership will paint it for $100.

Help me guys I would also buy an aftermarket one if its silver. I just don't want to spend alot of money. How hard is it to remove the grill insert??

If I paint it myself how to you recommend I do that? Should I sand it and get Krylon paint for plastic? Its got to stick, not flake

If you mean the piece of black plastic from a stock car, it comes out in a few seconds of tugging. But don't plan on painting it-its unpaintable TPO plastic.

I had one painted by the dealership before and it looked great. I am hoping I could find a type or brand of paint and do the same and save $100.00
