Hey guys, just wondered if anyone knew roughly how much a 4.11 rearend that would fit my car goes for, and how much work it is to change myself or how much is cost to have done at a shop
thanks

$150 for the gears and $350 for the install. You probably will need a bearing kit and other misc. parts. My total rebuild (including parts) and install was $900.
Roughly $300 for the ring and pinion and a master install kit which includes all new bearings. This is a very simple job for a shop that is experience with rear-ends, so accordingly they should only charge you $150-$250 MAX!
Most shops down here charge $200 for a complete rear-end rebuild.
