  • surging??

hey guys, i hope you can help me out on this, i got a 95 t/a with about 120 000 KM, auto, stock except for a straight pipe, when i just lightly accelerate(drivin around town) the car starts to lag and then surge, as soon as i give it more throttle it seems to go away. its been doing this for about a week now and seems to be getting worse, my car also has a hesistation of the line. i've had the fuel pressure checked and seems to be good if the correct pressure is around 40 psi, my dealership told me that it should be around 60 psi. could this be an opti problem or fuel?? my fuel mileage is also suffering.
any insight on this would be helpful.

When was the last time you checked your plug wires?
Sounds like a burned wire to me...

Stop listening to stealerships, their morons! An LT1 should be around 42psi (give or take a couple psi) with the vacuum line off the regulator. An LS1 is what their thinking about with nearly 60psi.
