  • spark plug wire #7 how to replace?

i just finished replacing my coil, ignition module, and spark plugs. The wires are next. but they have to wait, the cuts and bruises all around my arms have to heal first. during the spark plug change i checked out the routing of the old wires, my question is spark plug wire #7 (driver side, back) how to get that one in the rail? there is some rail running along the block, and the wire is routed inside that rail. this rail has to be taken off? if so, how do i get it off, so i can place the new wire in that rail?
    thanks in advance.

i'm glad i did those spark plugs, the old ones came out clean (after 10 years), but the car is idling much smoother now. thanks to all who gave instruction in this forum how to change spark plugs

Yes, you remove the shield with the wire in it, put the new wire back in like the old one was and reattach the shield. There are 2 small bolts that hold it on. The rearmost bolt only has to be loosened as the mounting in the shield is slotted and will slide up and off. The front bolt will need to be removed.
