Nope, the site is www.ramairhood.com ... not to be confused with www.ramairhoods.com ... only ramairhood.com carries the one I have. The other company carries one called 'the predator' which looks 'semi-similar' but not as good (in my opinion).

Yes I ordered it from ramairhood.com. I am very pleased with the hood. I didn't get it pre-painted because I was getting the car painted too and I wanted it all done together (plus you never know what can happen during shipping). In terms of fit...I was very surprised at how well it fit my car. There weren't any gaps between the hood and front quarter panels and it was even on all sides. My only complaint would be with the shipping. I live in Canada and when they filled out the paperwork and gave me my bill (which included shipping, duty, taxes, etc.) they screwed up and instead of 2-3 weeks like they say, I waited about a month then went through a hastle trying to get it across the border. Hopefully you live in the states and won't have this problem. Overall, its a great hood and a pretty good deal, I would recommend it for sure.

              Thank you for the compliment

And yes it does feel like a new car, I just need a nice set of chrome vette wheels now and I'll be (even more) happy with the appearance.

                  Sweet.

I've never seen the LS1 ram air hood on an LT1. It's a nice look.

Thanks a lot guys...I wanted to get the hood for a while but the stock ram air hood for my year really didn't appeal much to me as I didn't feel it stood out much. So, when I saw this one (which reminded me more of the 98-02 ram air hoods) I knew I had to get it. I am surprised at the power gains, they aren't anything too major but I wasn't expecting to see anything to be honest.

                    Nevertheless, thanks guys
