git some cash to waste 2 grand from graduation so what should i get for the firebird (91 305) already has a 650 cfm carb, edelbrock intake, headers, and custom dual exhaust. I was thinking of basics like stiffening the frame, lowering an inch, and maybe a nice 150 shot. or just getting another 3rd gen firebird

Somehow a 650cfm carb on a 305 without heads and cam seems like extreme overkill. The best way to get the true benefits out of a carb like that would be a bigger cam, and some head work to support it.
Put 1/2 your money into the bank for something you don't consider a "waste", and put the other 1/2 into a cam and some head work. The 305 is not the best platform for "performance".Fred
