Freon leak

I've had a freon leak for years and when every Summer comes I recharge it. I usually use 2 - 4 cans which lasts a couple months before it completely dries out. How do I find the source of the leak and can it be fixed easily?

I've had a freon leak for years and when every Summer comes I recharge it. I usually use 2 - 4 cans which lasts a couple months before it completely dries out. How do I find the source of the leak and can it be fixed easily?

With a can of R-134a that contains an ultraviolet dye. Recharge and after use, observe the fittings, hoses and other hardware with a black light. The source of the leak will be very apparent.
