I've been told that they a good engines but how good are they on high mileage.Having the LT1 well maintained can it reach 400 000 miles ?

94k and counting... -
Mine had 236,000 miles when I pulled it (it was still running). The Z now has 280,000+ miles.The Old Guy! '94 z-28, m-6, t-tops, go-fast red, 316k. Now with '96 engine w/ Lt-4 hot cam, roller rockers, heavy duty timing chain, and Spec stage 2 clutch.
