  • auto t-handle shift knob came loose!!!!!!!

    my t-handle automatic shift knob came loose today and i can't figure out how to get it tightened!!!!!!!!!!! anyone know how to get it tightened let me know soon PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Super glue??

    Seriously though...there's a metal clip that goes into the front of the shifter handle and into holes on the shifter stem. It looks like a staple. If you don't have one, I'm sure you could get one at a junkyard.

    I put a Firebird T-handle on my '96 Camaro. The staple isn't aligned the same for some reason. Never really had a problem with it coming off though.
