  • Is Having Two Diffrent Cats Bad?

About 40,000 miles ago I replaced both my converters with Mac cats. I'm pretty sure the passenger side has gone south. I can get a Catco from Summit for around $50. Is it bad to replace just one and is it not a good thing to have two diffrent cats?

I don't see what the problem would be, I mean a cat's a cat, right? They both do the same job. I don't see any harm in it.

Your new cat will just be more efficient than your other cat, but you won't have any problems.

The stock cats on the dual-cat LT1's are two different shape units, in radically different locations. Don't worry about it.
