    yeh so it finally gave, went to start the car, and click...

    are they a PITA to replace?
    1996 Trans Am WS6

    A4, 3" VForce Catback, Corvette C6 rims, Slotted and Drilled Rotors, 160*stat, BMR SFC, HPP3, B&M Shift Kit.

    nah. Do you have headers on your car? I had to drop my starter to do my headers, but I can't remember if I dropped it before the stock Y pipe. It should be pretty simple. If you don't have to drop the Y pipe it should take 15 minutes to swap out. If you gotta drop the Y.... not so easy. Esp when your bolts snap.

      if it just went click check ur battery and connections, something might be loose or not a good connection

        my starter clicked the other day and it ended up being a broken ring terminal off the solenoid... crimped a new one on and attached back to the solenoid and was good as new....
