I've been checking around, but couldn't find anything on this ... is it possible to switch the odometer between miles an km? (2k Firebird) I know it has both "mi" and "km" in the display, with only one being active ...

I'm not sure if there is a way to switch the digital odometer to KM. Try reading the owners manual? If there is no way -
Vehicles sold in Canada came with odometers in Km. I'd suggest posting in the "parts wanted" sections of as many f-body forums as possible. You could also call around to salvage yards as some specialize in f-bodies.
What you might need is the gauge cluster from a canadian sold vehicle. Then have it calibrated to read the correct kilometers for the vehicle.Tracy
