  • LS1 Driveshaft Question

Just wondering if anyone knows if it makes a difference whether a LS1 driveshaft for my A4 LT1 (1996 trans am) is from a manual or automatic LS1 trans am, will it work either way?

I did a search on this but found nothing, so any info would be appreciated.

Pretty sure it will work either way.

The 4th Gen driveshafts were the same length for the M6 and A4 LSx and LT1.

Just make sure you don't get the T-56 retro-fit driveshaft which is 1.9" shorter. It was meant for the retro-fit T-56 for the 3rd gen.
