Thanks alot for all your help fellas, I really appreciate it.

I do have a 180dg t-stat but when I did the scan the program wasnt working and the engine warmed up to 210 range in the time I restarted my laptop and freescan, its usually at the 180 range.

The EGR Valves arent too expensive so Im gonna replace it

I just got my headers back from Airborn today, I was going to put these in and do plugs and wires, Should I replace the opti also or should I wait to see if the plugs and wires clear up the possible spark scatter?

Depends how quick you need your car up and running. I would say to pull the plugs and wires and look at the plugs (number them) and measure the wires with an ohm meter while shaking them if possible. If you find something bad, then you might have found your problem. Then do headers and replace the plugs & wires. If they all look the same and you don't see something that looks bad, then order the opti from Dal or Jason Cromer and start your header project thing ready for the opti swap while you're for the opti.

One other thing you might want to try that's come up now & then is heat soak of the esc module on the head. Might want to try mounting it away from the head a bit and see if that was causing any of your probs.

Oh, and just cause you have a 180 stat doesn't mean your car will run at 180. you might set your fans to come on sooner to lower it if that's what you want.
