I was browsing parts and came across an MSD optispark. I knew they had a cap and rotor already but this is the whole unit. $500 is a pretty good price if it performs better than oem.

It apparently just came out in the past couple weeks. I haven't heard anything yet though with it just coming out and all.

I had one on order in April, but Summit changed the ship date from 4/20 to mid July! Needless to say, who knows if and when anyone has stock, but I ended up investing in a Dynaspark - which seems the same to me.

There are people using them, but the jury is still out on how much better it is. Time will tell. One guy already had a rotor failure due to a manufacturing defect after investigation by MSD. They have changed their manufacturing process to try to eliminate this problem.
