ls6 intake manifold

withour trying to hijack the other thread on the board i also have a few questions about the EGR system...

Over the last couple weeks i have been looking around for a LS6 intake manifold for some extra power and to get rid of the EGR....
i drive a 98 z28.. with a CAI and a bellow (more to come)... and the guy that does madz28 tuning lives in the town where i reside... so i was gona have him do a powertune as well as the egr delete....

What are some possible drawbacks of getting rid of the EGR.. because the ls6 intake doesnt have the EGR openings in the front of the intake.

Everybody that installs an LS6 intake ditches the EGR with no problems. It is also beneficial to have the EGR system and associated codes programmed out. You just need the EGR block off plate and the coolant pipe/plugs.
