Flushing the heater core

Anyone that can tell me how to flush out my heater core? This past winter it was broke and I am finally getting around to doing some maintenace on the car and was wondering what all is required to flush out the system. Thanks

To flush the core, merely remove the heater hoses at the water pump and use a garden hose to flush toward the core. After flushing into one hose, change direction and flush into the other one. It requires no money and little time. Keep all water pointed away from your optispark.
