Shoebox has several pictures on his website that would be usefull to you.
The best way to do it, is to understand what the vacuum line actually do.
They originate at the intake manifold, go to various electric solonoids and then to their final destination.
Here is an example- the EGR feed. It goes from the port on the intake, to the solonoid, to the valve.

There is also a little sticker on the radiator cover that shows all the vacuum line routing.Rob B 95Z A4 Tech Page (Part numbers / locations, how to's, schematics, DTC's...) Home Page - shbox.com

well okay, i do understand for the most part what they do, but i removed a lot of stuff like my EGR and AIR tube so now, being its been a while since i took them off, i am not sure which goes where. but still, i dont know where the one vacuum line goes that comes off of the fuel line harness that snakes infront under the throttle body.

The "3rd line" in the fuel line bundle is the EVAP canister purge line. It comes off the fuel line bundle at mid manifold on the drivers side, connects to a U-shaped metal tube that runs forward to the front of the engine, then goes around the front of the engine, under the throttle body, turns to plastic, goes around to the passenger side, and connects to the EVAP purge solenoid on the black metal bracket at the midpoint of the passenger side of the intake manifold. There are two connections on the EVAP solenoid. The 2nd one connects to the small vacuum port on the passenger side of the throttle body.
AGAIN, this line is clearly shown on the radiator cover label, and the connections at the EVAP solenoid are clearly shown in the photos on Shoebox's website. Not sure how you can't find them.Fred

well i was asking those questions before i knew about the drawing on the shrowd..although, i am asking about the lines that i deleted like the EGR and AIR. where can i find those little boots to fit over the vacuum nipples on the manifold..my car so all ready to start up, i just have to block off the unused ports.shes loud, i tried startin her today with open headers..wow cant wait to actually get it running. my neighbors are going to hate me..lol we all know how that goes..

Any auto parts store has the vacuum caps or you can make one with a piece of hose and a small screw or bolt stuck in it (a little uglier, but functional).Rob B 95Z A4 Tech Page (Part numbers / locations, how to's, schematics, DTC's...) Home Page - shbox.com
