I was curious to know how big of a job it would be to swap out my ls1 engine for the ls6 or ls2? What changes/modifications would have to be made to my 2001 formula?

However LS1 to LS2 is not. There are some differences that will cause you to buy or fabricate some things. ie. Map sensor is in the front of the intake on an LS2 and in the back of the LS1. Knock sensors are in the side of the block on the LS2 but in the lifter valley in the LS1. Motor mounts are slightly different which caused to buy an LS2 motor mount. Throttle Body on the LS2 uses a different plug. There are a few more but they slip my mind right now.LS15 Power! Another LSx engine coming soon.

Thanks I appreciate your info. I have a blown ls1 motor so I figure I'd check out some other motors before I went ahead and got an ls1 again.
