I can say that those odds will be more worse than that because 4 out of every 5 cars on the road have either over inflated tires or under inflated tires... My uncle for example believes you should inflate you tires up to the tires maximum pressure... but if you do that you don't give the tire room to expand as you go faster and start doing smokies (burnouts)... My aunt thinks that you don't need to go over the minimum tire pressure but then you don't give the tire room to lose air over a few months as the weather changes...

Me personally, I keep mine in check about every other week to getting lazy and checking them every month...
