3.4 strange problem

A friend of mine has a 95 3.4 5 speed. It has an intermittent problem. When you mash the clutch pedal it trys to die. I have found out that the prior owner used the car for a drifter. I replaced the front crankshaft position sensor. Plug and wires. And the egr valve. The only possible thing i can think of is that the crank is moving forward just enough to throw the sensor off. HELP PLEASE!!!

I don't know much about manual F-bodies, because I've never owned one. Does the clutch have vacuum assist? If so, perhaps there is a vacuum leak in the system?

it does run like it has a vacuum leak. where exactly would the assist be
