Okay i am getting random misfires every few weeks from both cylinders 3 and 4. So where should i start looking so that I cn narrow down this problem unfortunately I don't have a scanner so all i am left with is an obd II code reader and no clue whether its fuel or spark. Can anyone give me a good idea how to approach this problem. Ohh btw plugs were changed a few thousand miles ago and gapped correctly.

There are so many causes of misfires, it's really hard to make a suggestion over the internet as to where to start. I know you said you didn't have a scanner, but it really would be worth the effort to locate one. It will give you such a better idea of what to rule out and where to start....other than that it's just a guess.
Where you getting any other codes? Is the motor running abnormally? Can you actually feel or hear the motor missing? You said you changed the plugs, but when is the last time the plug wires were changed or inspected?

Just as fast TA said when was the last time the wires were changed.Just taking a guess this could be your problem. My 96ss i had a plug wire that caused a random misfire that drove me nuts trying to track down.I had a local shop work on it and he found it misfiring on three cylinders under a load.I got it back after he tried a few things only to have the same problem.I found the bad wire buy shutting the lights off and revving the engine up and happened to see the wire arcing.I had a wire to close to the header and in a tight spot hard to see. This trick also works for a bad coil.My car did the same thing under a load and under 3,000 rpms it would break up and just got worse as time went on.
