Installed a complete 1LE take-off assembly from a '92 Camaro on my '92 Z28 and the Calipers are bouncing when the brakes are applied or when I hit a bump. This is my third installation of PBR Calipers and have not experienced a problem in the past. The New PBR's Calipers were installed with the Retaining Pin on the Top or across from the Bleeder with the 1LE Pads anchored into the bottom of the Caliper Retainer bracket. The Hawk pads came with the metal Rattle clips installed so that is not an issue. Bleeder screws are on the Top so the Calipers seem to be installed correctly, so what gives why are the Calipers making a clunking sound when the brakes are applied? The 1LE brakes work perfectly, no pulling or fading so they are operating correctly.
Any thoughts or ideas would be apreciated because I am stumped. Only difference with this install is that I could not get the GM rattle clips which have a rubber insulator. Thanks
