replacing flip-out cup holder

No advice really needed--just a frustration comment. The flip-out cup holder broke on my Ragtop. I stop by chevy parts to get a price. The news????

Can't buy just the cup holder. To replace the cup holder you have to replace the ENTIRE console!!!!!! $193 plus tax!!!!

How idiotic is that?????
