  • Anybody convert from OBDII PCM to OBD1?

Do you need to replace the knock sensors if you do this? Was wondering if this is worth it to be able to use LT1 edit.

    I have a 96pcm at the moment.

    Thanks!

    PCMFORLESS.COM

I ordered a conversion 2 to 1 from pcmforless that way u can keep the computer u have a use the one he sends u. All u have to do is plug it in and play. He does all the work for u.

There is LT1 Edit for OBD2. But, in answer to your question, a lot of guys have done it, and also from OBD1 to OBD2 to get away from the high stall/1-3 shift problem with A4s.

I did it in my 96 WS6 Formula. At the time, nobody did OBDII programming and I needed it bad after the cam change.

If you want to keep your stock sensor, its just a resistor change in the OBDI computer. Then you can swap OBDI and OBDII computers without changing anything else.
