  • Another O2 Simulator Question

My '97 burban with 260,000 miles no longer has anything inside of the cats. In Florida we don't do emissions tests anymore either. So I'm getting around to fixing all sorts of anoyances on the burban, like the SES lite being set by the rear O2 Sensors.

The options I've found for fixing this:

    1. Replace the cats: I could, but don't really want to spend the $$$$.
    2. Wire in O2 Simulators from O2SensorSimulator.com, $40 each, so it around $90 with ups.
    3. Screw in a spacer in the O2 bunges. This is supposed to remove the sensor from the exhaust stream? This is from Innovative Performance, voodoboost.com, They cost $10 each, so for $25..... anybody hear about these?
    4. Get someone to reprogram the PCM, so as to not get the SES from a lack of the rear o2 sensors.

Anyone have any other options? Any comments on the above?
