slp performance pacs

Hey fella's, last time I was on here I had a 1995 T/A. I sold her before I started my tour in Kuwait. I will be back in March to purchase a 02' WS6 t/a. I was looking at slp.com and found the performance pacs for camaro's and t/a's. I was very intrested in purchasing either the 375 or 400hp pacs. Before I do that I would like to get an opinion from the of the expirenced individuals here. Is it worth the money or could i save some money and crank out the same horesepower with other mods? I would appriciate the help, Thanks guys

$4,000 can be spent much more effectively. Someone deeper into mods can chime in but I think you'd be better of looking into a heads/cam/tune for that kind of cash, sprinkled in with some little stuff like a lid and exhaust.

While I and several other members here are running lots of SLP parts, I dont think any of us have done a complete performance pack. It seems most effective to do:

- CAI (cold air induction) or ram air
- headers
- catback exhaust
- heads ported with larger valves
- new camshaft
- upgraded valvetrain, 1.6 roller rockers, better springs
- custom program from MadZ28 or PCM4Less.

Dont forget the mods for the chasis
- subframe connectors
- shock tower brace
- stiffer anti-sway bars
- lower control arms
- relocation brackets for the lower control arms
