Just as an update, I cleaned up the old battery cable (terminal was corroded) and the battery tray from all the corrosion, put on the new alternator and battery, new ground battery cable she fired right up. Did a check to make sure the battery was not still being drained and she stayed right around 13.94 volts. Its great to have my Z runnin' again.
