I just run the Prestone (green stuff) 50/50 in my 94 LT1... i think the later models they recommend using dexacool though...Comment

Prestone "any color" (I think that's the trade mark name...it's designed to mix with regular or dex-cool)

Just note if you do mix regular green antifreeze with the orange Dexcool you lose the "100,000" lifetime that the Dexcool promises and instead get the 30,000 mile lifetime of the green stuff.Originally posted by brothapig
