headlight motor fuse location?

anyone happen to know where the location is for the fuses? thank you

if you have a 1990-1992 firebird formula or trans-am the fuse location would be in the owners manual. i would really appreciate if someone could help me with this ... i already feel ridiculous that i can't find it. Thank you.

On my '90 Firebird I used to have, the only fuse panel was underneath the driver's side dash..there is a plastic cover that hides it and it just snaps out..
If it's not listed there I'll dig out my repair manual and see where it's fed from.

yeah the chiltons manual saya something about a convenince center but shows no location for it. boggles my mind. if you ahve a different one any help would be appreciated. thanks

I see no location identified either..
I'd just have to trace the wiring from the headlight module ,,
they will be the two orange wires for the right and left..
the '91's show that they are circuit breakers..
they were fusible links before that and in '92 they went to a fuse..
If I still had the '91 I'd trace them out for ya..sorry..

thanx for trying ... i guess my worse case scenerio would be just calling up the GM dealership and asking them .. which i will try to call tommorow and mayeb they can pull it up for me...

ok so the fuses are located underneath the steering wheel and to the right. aftre you remove the pad that covers the steering column its right there. you would almost never see it cuz it is pretty hidden. just though i would post this in case if anyone else has this problem

It seems to me the headlight motors operate off a relay, the relay box is located under the hood. I cannot remember where it was on my 87 but look under the hood.

that where i thought too ... but its the 93 and above models. i did find it. 2 15 amp fuses for the LH and RH headlight motor, horn relay, and alarm. as soon as you take off the pad thats under the steering wheel its there all the way to right . just really hard to see cuz everything is black with exception to the horn relay which was a eggshell grayish color. this is the location for 1990-1992 models in case anyone else needs it. Convienence center? not so convienent if you ask me...
