I have picked up a 72 400 small block with dart heads and a TPI setup with an accel computer management system. This motor sat for over 7 years . The problem I have is that the 02 sensor wire snapped off and i can not find it in the wiring harness . I called accel and they can not decide if the harness was from an early marine application or an early gen six hareness . Can anyone tell me, by checking their own harness, a way to solve this problem. I currently have a 79 TA with a 455 motor my problem is that even though I love my car and wont part with it 8 miles to the gallon gets a little expensive . I am new to fuel injection so this thing has me scratching my head a little bit . I know the easy solution would be to drop it off at my mechanic but I want to learn by getting my hands dirty . What additonal info do you need and where should I start? the motor is getting fuel to the rails but I Cant get it to idle

This being an aftermarket fuel management sys, makes this a bit of a problem. If it was GM, you could find the pin on the ECM using a wiring diagram and trace it all the way down the harness. I find it hard to believe that Accel cant tell you a pin location on their system. If its a choice between two, tell them to give you the 2 pin locations for the O2 wiring and try tracing them through the harness until you find the broken wire. Be very careful when repairing O2 sensor wiring as resistance is very important to getting a proper reading.96 WS6 Formula: Ram Air, 383 Stroker, Ported LT4 Heads and Manifold, 1.6 Crane Rollers, 58MM T.B., AS&M Headers, Borla Exhaust, Meziere Elec.
