Another thing, pick up a Loctite blue threadlocker stick. It's alot easier to apply than the liquid stuff. You don't want to lose your steering bolts!
Is that your garlic there? lol

Yeah, someone on another forum was saying to use the red thread-locker. I was thinking I should pick something up. Any reason to not use the red stuff?

Some people need rag joint eliminators, well that is my dingle berry eliminator!

Red is way overkill for just the steering shaft bolts. Red is used on stuff like ring gear bolts and input shaft bolts. Stuff that takes a real beating.

So, to keep your ape-hairs clean? lol

I thought red was a little overkill as well. Alright, I'll add that to my list-o-stuff.

Never heard that. Mine went right in once the rivets were out.

Well Joe, I took your advice and placed my order for a UE Rag Joint Eliminator. Shipped out today from the L.A. area. Gotta love dealing with local companies .

Sorry Kev, but Flaming River doesn't have an eliminator, at least not anymore.

Not surprising. That's the way of the aftermarket parts world.

I think you'll be fine with the UE eliminator. It looks like a pretty quality piece.
