Who has expereince with this? Is it relatively easy to use? Guys on LS1tech.com advised me to buy the program and do all the tuning myself -- that kinda makes me nervous... is it easy enough to use?

I use it as well as my son. It isn't hard to learn, the main thing is not to change anything that you don't know for certain what it will do. There are several good tech boards that can help you learn. LS1 Edit also has a mailing list you can get on.

You also need something such as Auto Tap to monitor the car to determine what, if anything, would need changing.

If you have any mods at all, you may very well need to do some reprogramming.

      Thanks Kevin...

The mods I have are MTI airlid, K&N, TByrne MAF ends, SLP bellows, B&M shifter, Corsa Cat-back, PPC LT headers, and off-road y-pipe with O2 sims, and BFG T/A KDW tires. Like my sig says, I was 13.3 @ 109 stock... but since these mods, I am now 13.6 @ 105... showing fuel trim at 10% positive and O2 at 965 mV at WOT... so I know I am too rich and need to do some adjusting.

By the way... I saw your car a couple times down in BG for the gathering, waited around there, but never got to see you...

      Thanks for the advice!

Yeah, I was out and about ALOT down at the Gathering in BG, very busy. Most of the SSOA folks hung out at night at the Continental Inn, up the street from the museum, near the interchange.

Hope I get to meet you at the next one.

You definitely need to do some reprogramming. Not only will your LTrims be off and affect the performance under WOT, but so will your AFR which can really affect performance.

I'll be putting on the PPC LT headers, hi-flo cats and Y-pipe on in a few weeks.

Here is a new board specifically for tuning the LS1.

Thanks a lot! The funny thing is that I stayed at the Continental Inn, lol... If you saw a black WS6 in the parking lot there, that was mine
