  • Non F bod ?..1971 El Camino

Does anyone here know if the 1971 El Camino ever came with
a 307??? Maybe only in CA???

I can only find where it came from the factory with the following..

    350
    402 AKA 396
    2ea 454's (LS5 aka SS454) and LS6....

My sister had a 71 Chevelle with a 307 in it. I would think it would be the same for an El Camino.

    1995 Z28, many mods, SOLD

The 307 was the base V8 for almost the entire Chevrolet line in 71. It was standard in the Camaro, Chevelle, Nova and I would assume El Camino. The 350's were options as well as the 396 and 454.

          Pretty positive it's 8 was indeed a 307.

On a side note.. just sold my 1980 El Camino that had 52k miles and a 267.

Still have the 89 gta though
