backfire

the past two days in a row my car backfired while i was driving. I was wondering if it was because of the weather change and my gutted cats? if its not, what else would cause this. It happened both times while in forth gear excellarating (sp?). No idea what else it could be. thanks

it means your timing in you motor is of. B/c you emptied out your cadds, you have increased your hp of your car.. this is not a bad thing but if it persists, get it checked out...

thnx, it hasnt happened since i wrote you guys about it, and the cats were gutted for months before it did happen. so well see how it goes.
