  • Baer vs stock brakes

Well, I finished my Baer brake install. The rotors are zinc washed and slotted. I can't "jam" 'em yet because of the break-in procedure. They do look nice, and I'm sure they'll stop much better too.

Probably the hardest part was cutting the spindles. I used up 4 blades on a reciprocating saw. They do have good directions. And note that the second pic has the rotor installed backwards - which is fixed of course

EDIT: Sprry moderators, thought I was in the tech section, but apparently the wrong one

Looks good man, should stop well. Is that the track kit, or the serious street?

That was something I wanted to do to my T/A when I had it. Looks awesome and should perform even better.

Thanks guys. I still haven't had a chance to "test" them, as I only have accumulated about 400 miles yet. As far as the package goes, they are the Sport package. I still have about 1/2" of clearance in there, which is always good Hopefully, the extra $120 for zinc washed and slotted will be worth it.

The extra $120 is worth it just for the looks if you ask me.
