  • Solid motor mount Location?

    I bought Sophin LSX solid mount motor. I put it on 2001 Camaro V-8 Crossmember and found out that it not fit on v-8 crossmember bolts located. Made me

    1)Do I have to weld on LSX solid mount on crossmember? Or Make drill on crossmember and put new bolts?

    2)Is one small LSX solid mount at passenger side?

    I plan put new LS2 Carburator motor with T-56.

    Anyone have experienced to set up with Sophin LSX Solid Motor Mount?

    Sophin did not give me the instruction of install it.
    Cool!!! ..Keep it simple
    Working on put LS2 Carburator w/T-56 without PCM on '01 Camaro, was original V-6.
    G D Luck me???

    Sophin = Spohn????

    One end bolts to the k-member, the other end to the block. The longer one is the driver's side, just like stock. It isn't rocket science.......

    If Steve Spohn made it, its 100% guaranteed to fit.
