which is better 4l60e or 700r4 or are they the same

1995 formula firebird
mods k&n fipk ,flowmaster catback, 52mm throttle body, crane hi-6 with lx92 coil,mad dog tranny with trans cooler

Basically, the 4L60E is an electronically controlled 700R4.
