    Door Latch

    Hope somebody has some advice on how to get my driver door open,
    something broke in the door latch mechanism inside the door. with the window down I can see inside all operating rods our working OK, but I can see something in the latch flopping around, Is it possible to get the inner door panel off with the door closed?? any thoughts much appriceated

    take the cover off the other door, look how the mechanism works and then get a long wire or something and open it..i dont remember how it works but i m sure it can be done that way

      Found a service bulletin for 93 f-bodys on-line, had to purchase,

      Shows that the inside panel can be semi-removed and pulled far enough in to access the lock mechanism, with a mirror and flash light.

      Shows a small rectangular opening on mechinism using a icepick or scratch awl to release latch,

      I think I will wait till I get the new mechinism before I attempt the procedure.
