  • Driver side window

My driver side window has been acting up the past couple months. It will work fine for 2 weeks or so, then act up for a day. It will go down with no problem, but when going back up, it goes 3/4 of the way then stops. After it gets 3/4 of the way, the last 1/4 goes up in 1" increments about 5 mins. apart. Is this the motor going out? Also the little red light that lights up the buttons on the door goes on and off while I drive. I was playing with it and the two aren't related because with light on or off the window still doesn't go up. The light is just something else I would like to fix if I have the door apart. thanks fellas!!

SFC( not sure what kind), drilled/slotted rotors, K&N air filter, all free mods, 3" Borla cat back exaust, electric exaust cut out, NGK spark plugs, royal purple motor oil, and Zaino .Maybe more. I find more stuff done to it everytime I look at it.

Your window motor is toast. You'll need to replace it or stop using it asap or it will fail in the open position at the least opportune moment.

I replaced the motor and it was great fun, the most fun I have had in a long time For those of you who don't have, or in my case can't find a C-clamp in your garage, I stuffed 2 used Zaino applicators between the window and the door and they held the window in place perfectly. C- clamp would have be the right way to go, but I wanted to get it done.

Great! Ken can add this to his list of "1000 uses for Zaino"!
